_ Bio _

Mariah was born in Baltimore, Maryland and was raised on the East Coast until
the age of eight. At that point her father, a writer, desiced to move the
family to London and then to France.
In France, they spent the first few years in an old chateau before moving to
Paris and using the chateau for weekends and vacations.

From the age of six, Mariah studied ballet and began working with Jennifer
Goube of the Opéra de Paris when she moved to Paris.
It was after a vigorous class, as she walked along the Champs Elysees, swinging
her bag and letting her hair and face, hot from the perspiration, cool down in
the wing, that she was approached by a model scout from Madison Models.
At that point her life took a sharp turn toward the world of modelling and soon
she had left school and was travelling throughout Europe and the world as a fulltime model.

A few years later, she landed her first role in a French television film and
decided to audition for drama school.
It is at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, that Mariah
embarked on a three year acting course in which she studied singing, ballroom
dancing, Shakespeare, poetry, movement, mime, improvisation and circus.
In her final year, she performed lead roles on stage such as Ariel in The Tempest,
Rachel in Inherit the Wind, Ic in the Greek tragedy Prometheus Bound and made
her professional debut on the London stage as Alice Sycamore in
You can’t take it with you.

Having received her BA in the Arts, she departed for LA, where she has now
lived for a year and a hald. She can be seen on screens across the country
in David Fincher’s The Social Network and will be appearing soon in the CBS sitcom
Rules of Engagement.
